It’s frustrating that so many entry level job postings I see require at least two years of experience. Does that even make sense? A recent college graduate may not even be qualified for an entry level job? One of the more annoying parts of this recession is that employers have been able to (or maybe they have to) ask for so much more from their potential employees.

the trick is to get a job or internship while you are IN college, because everyone respects you while you are still in school. i wish i had known. americorps saved my butt — not that it gave me experience in my chosen field, but it bought me time.

I have yet to find a single entry level job I am qualified for without lying. I am not looking for jobs with 2+ years of experience and just leveling in my internships/Cardinal Comm. How are college grads expected to get hired these days?
