Made a ton of (baked) vegetable tempura, who wants to help me finish it?

Making breakfast burritos with egg, potato, veggie sausage, green peppers, garlic, mushrooms, turmeric, chile powder, green and red salsa, sour cream, cheddar, and avocado.

Vegetarian sloppy joe with swiss, coleslaw and avocado. And baked cheetos and root beer.

Nothing fancy.

  • Thin, french toast’d Everything bagel with cream cheese
  • Hashbrowns with grilled swiss, avocado and a crudely drawn Sriracha pentagram

Weird food that I make after late-night runs in the snow when I am too hungry to really think about what I’m throwing together

  • Veggie burger -  whole wheat sandwich bread, swiss cheese, fried egg, spicy coleslaw, and avocado slices
  • Improvised pesto - sauteed pasta, wild rice, fresh basil, olive oil, pureed eggplant, various herbs

This really does not apply to Minneapolis or Minnesota in general. I can’t substantively speak for other Midwestern cities though.

Also, within the article itself, after the opening of “people must never eat processed meats again in their entire lives” (italics and all), they say the USDA or whoever actually just says to make sure you read the ingredients on your packaged meat to make sure it doesn’t have sodium nitrite or MSG in it.

which is not. the same thing. at all.

Any time a “news” article so vastly contradicts itself, I just walk away. Fuck that noise.
